1 hour, fully resourced lesson which provides an overview and introduction to the different varieties of Islam. It examines not only Shi’ite and Sunni Islam, but also Wahhabism, Ibadi Islam and other, alternative, less well known groups.

A 25 minute Tutor Time session created especially for LGBT+ Month (Feb 2019). This is the fourth of six sessions to be used throughout LGBT+ month, each focusing on and exploring the culture and history of a different aspect of the LGBTQAI community, from Lesbians (L) to Intersex (I).
The session contains three challenge learning outcomes, slides of easy to digest information, a clip task with differentiated questions and final reflection task. The session is editable and been created to be perfect to just pick up and use.

It compares the validity of Amish beliefs to more mainstream Christian ones and investigates what it’s like to live in the Amish community today. It examines criticisms as well as the Church in the words of believers. This lesson is the fifth in my ‘Alternative Religions and New Movements’ Unit - originally created for year 9, but easily amended for any KS3 / KS4 group. The lesson can easily be used in isolation, however.
